Problem Note 67828: SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.2.x/5.3.x - A single sign-on user account becomes locked when you attempt to end or delete a SAS® session
Within a SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.2.x/5.3.x environment that is configured to use single sign-on, your account might become locked. This problem occurs when a single sign-on user attempts to end or delete a SAS session from a different browser session than the one where the SAS session was initiated.
SAS Life Science Analytics Framework is configured with multiple Java Virtual Machines (JVMs). If you are connected through one JVM and the SAS session is initiated through another JVM, the external credentials are not passed from one JVM to the other.
Failure to pass the external credentials from one JVM to another results in multiple failed logon attempts. Subsequently, the user account is locked.
The final result is that the SAS session is deleted, and you might see an error message stating that the session no longer exists.
You must contact your SAS Life Science Analytics Framework administrator to have your account unlocked.
The issue is addressed beginning with SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.3.1.
